LANC Interface (Part# RL01)
A timecode and machine control interface. Allows control of LANC protocol devices from RS-422 editing systems and controllers. Converts DV timecode to analog LTC (SMPTE) and MTC (Midi) timecode formats.

Note: There is a less expensive product which may be compatible with your system and your needs. Call for more information about Lport422.

Batch capture from DV, Hi-8 and Digital-8 camcorders and VCRs with non-linear editing systems or Auto-Assemble with RS-422 controllers.

FEATURES INCLUDE
• Converts Sony P2 VTR commands into LANC device commands
• Converts MMC (Midi Machine Control) commands into LANC device commands
• Allows professional editing systems to control DV transport via RS-422 to LANC
• Allows Digital Audio Workstations to control DV transport via MMC to LANC
• Converts LANC timecode (DV or RC) to analog or Midi timecode.
• Positional LTC and MTC-Full output during jog / shuttle
• Supports PAL and NTSC dropframe and non dropframe standards
